After a decade off the air, popular Comedy Central series Reno 911! is set to return for a seventh season on the short-form mobile video streaming service, Quibi. Recently, the first sneak peak for Quibi's Reno 911! was released, which is sure to have fans of the original series excited.

The sneak peek opens up with Thomas Lennon's Lt. Jim Dangle giving a briefing to the other police officers, which was done frequently in the original Reno 911! series. The briefing turns into a hilarious conversation between Dangle and the other officers about squirrels singing in the station's air ducts.

Offering a comedic take on documentary shows such as Cops, Reno 911! first premiered on Comedy Central in 2003 and ran until 2009. The series featured six seasons as well as a feature-length film called Reno 911!: Miami, which was released on February 23, 2007.

Reno 911! was officially announced to be getting a revival on December 6, 2019. The Quibi series will show the return of creators/stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Thomas Lennon. Other actors from the original series appearing in the revival include Cedric Yarbrough, Carlos Alazraqui, Wendi McLendon and Niecy Nash.

Though filming has begun on the series, an official release date hasn't been confirmed. However, it is planned to release sometime this year.
