10 Glutton
Rimuru's first power and his most horrifying, depending on who's looking at it, is glutton. Glutton allows Rimuru to absorb almost anything into his body, whether it be his new dragon BFF or a ton of magic crystals.
He uses this ability constantly throughout the series in order to defeat big bad, gather supplies, and ensure that he can survive his first days in a fantasy world.
9 Regeneration
Along with the power to consume pretty much anything he wants, Rimuru also has regeneration powers. This makes it especially hard to defeat him as his body will constantly heal during a fight.
As he grows stronger, so does his power of regeneration; as long as he still has mana, he can infinitely heal himself.

Replication doesn't just mean making multiple copies of himself, which, as it turns out, Rimuru can also do; it means using the power of any enemy he has eaten. Rimuru ate a spider, so he is able to use their sticky thread.
Since he ate Shizu, he is able to take on her form; this gives him the ability to literally gather every single power that is available in the world. He was even able to harness the power of a top-tier dragon.
7 Barrier
Rimuru is a gentle-hearted man who loves his friends and would do anything to help his nation prosper in a healthy manner. He doesn't just have the tools to protect himself, but also those around him.
Rimuru possesses the ability to create a barrier that completely shields those inside from attacks; as he grows more powerful, so does the barrier he can create.
6 Increased Senses
Even with his ability to beat pretty much anything that decides to pop-up in his land, he still possesses inhuman senses. Rimuru is able to hear, feel, and even smell much better than any of the creatures around him.
These enhanced senses help him to identify threats before they reach him, which helps him to protect those around him. These senses also give him a chance to focus on a quick counterattack.
5 Shapeshifting
Rimuru's shapeshifting goes farther than just his ability to replicate the form of enemies he's absorbed. Rimuru is easily able to shapeshift into a variety of forms, which can help him hide in plain sight.
Shapeshifting can be used as the perfect disguise to catch his foes off guard or even gather entail without anyone ever realizing his true form is that of a blue slime.

Rimuru isn't just a menace on land and sea; he also becomes an airborne fighting machine within the first season of the anime. Rimuru is able to sprout wings at will that let him freely soar through the sky.
This gives him a huge advantage over most of his enemies in the world, as there doesn't seem to be a large variety of humans or monsters that can fight in the air.

It only makes sense that Rimuru would gain access to the world's mystic arts. Not only does Rimuru have high mana, but he does carry tons of magic crystals within his body and is already fluent in alchemy.
Rimuru is seen possessing powerful lighting magic, but he also has elements to the other elements as well, such as fire. He also has the power to use telepathy to communicate with his allies when needed. In addition, he also has the ability to cancel the magic around him.
2 Heartless
One of the most surprising abilities that Rimuru gets, later on, is called Heartless. The ability allows Rimuru to gain control over the souls of others or even take control of the souls of the enemies he has recently killed.
The ability tunes him into the soul he has under his control and allows him to know all their thoughts. This way, Rimuru is able to easily monitor those that he has spared but doesn't yet trust.
1 Great Sage
The most powerful ability that Rimuru possesses is the ability to talk to and use the Great Sage. The Great Sage possesses limitless knowledge about the world that Rimuru is in and can access the objects or enemies around him.
The Great Sage helps him acquire new abilities and can even put his body into an auto-battle mode. That means that Rimuru doesn't even actually have to do any of the fighting himself.
