Of all the new Flash villains to debut during the DC Rebirth era, one of the most terrifying is the Dark Multiverse speedster the Red Death and, this summer, fans will be able to get a pint-sized version of the evil alternate universe character for themselves.
Funko has announced it's releasing a figure from the toy company's signature Pop! line of the villainous fusion between the Flash and Batman this June for $11.99. The Pop! is available now for preorder at local comic shops.
First appearing in DC Comics' 2017 crossover comic book event Dark Nights: Metal by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, the sinister Scarlet Speedster had his origins on Earth-52 expanded by Joshua Williamson and Carmine Di Giandomenico's Dark Nights: The Red Death #1. The one-shot revealed a version of Batman driven mad by the loss of his allies subduing Barry Allen and using a modified version of the Batmobile outfitted with pieces from the Cosmic Treadmill to force the two former friends into the Speed Force and fuse their bodies into the villain with Barry's speed and Bruce's tactical knowledge.
The Funko Pop! figure of the Red Death will be on sale on June 26 and is available for preorder now.
