Months after the end of its public beta, Rockstar Games has announced Red Dead Online is about to receive its next wave of new content with the Frontier Pursuits expansion this month.
The popular multiplayer spinoff of Red Dead Redemption 2 has released a trailer for the upcoming expansion, showcasing bounty hunters arriving to deliver law and order to the Wild West with a well-placed bullet. From snowy vistas to dimly lit graveyards, the trailer teases plenty of new content for the open-world title.
The expansion will add three new player specializations including bounty hunter, trader and collector, with traders earning experience by wheeling and dealing in camp and collectors hunting for treasure across the lawless frontier.
In addition to the new specializations, the game will also launch the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club from Sept. 10 to Nov. 18, with members gaining free access to content and experience rewards that they can keep once the club closes. The expansion will also include the Outlaw Pass which allows paid subscribers access to exclusive content and rewards in combination with the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club during the same period.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are published by Rockstar Games. Available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the Frontier Pursuits expansion launches on Sept. 10.
