According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor David Thewlis has joined the cast of "Red" sequel as " an information dealer" known as the Frog. So Rosario Dawson is back for the "Sin City" sequel, according to E! News (via our pals at Spinoff Online). Asked for more details, the actress tells the entertainment site that she "Can't tell you nothing." She will be reprising he role as Gail, Dwight's Valkyrie with an Uzi. It's been a long time since I've read "A Dame to Kill For," but I'm pretty sure Gail makes an appearance.

Bleeding Cool notes the appearance of a logline for the project on the paid tracking board, It's on the Grid. Ready for the plot submitted to the site? Here it is: "Lobo, a powerful alien bounty hunter, lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc." Cough. I suppose a "Lobo" movie would be more about the telling than the story, right? Bleeding Cool also poo-poos the recent rumor that "da Main Man" might appear in that mythical "Justice League" movie -- particularly as there is still no director attached.

Remember how director James Cameron planned to make a film based on "Battle Angel Alita" following "Avatar?" According to MovieZine (via Collider), so does his producer, Jon Landau. He tells the site that "I am sure you will get to see 'Battle Angel.' It is one of my favorite stories, a great story about a young woman's journey to self-discovery. It is a film that begs the question: 'What does it mean to be human?'. Are you human if you have a heart, a brain or a soul? I look forward to giving the audience the film." And by "look forward," he most likely means after Cameron has completed three(!) sequels to "Avatar."

Nuke the Fridge has a few more details regarding the rumored extended cut of the film. "Today, we got word from the same source that gave us the heads up about the 'Directors Cut' about the potential release date for that Blu-ray. So according to that person a new version of 'The Dark Knight Rises' will be out on Blu-ray sometime right before Zack Snyder's, 'Man of Steel,' opens in theater." So, if you really need to see more of Bane, you're going to have a bit of a wait.

Ain't It Cool News has a review of the film from the Toronto International Film Festival. According to their reviewer, Anton Sirius, it is one of the most faithful comic book adaptations ever. "The film saddles him with a psychic rookie Judge (played by a spunky and steely Olivia Thirly) who's in danger of washing out of the force, and by seeing Dredd through her eyes while he teaches her how to be an 'effective' Judge the movie effortlessly sucks you into its worldview. It quickly becomes very easy to root for Dredd, even though by any rational standard his very existence should be horrific," writes Sirus.

Release date: September 21st, 2012

Asked about the recent report about a CW-ized version of Diana Prince, "Arrow" producer Greg Berlanti tells The Hollywood Reporter that "If there's room for a thousand reality shows, hopefully there's room for a thousand shows like this" and hopes the two shows could co-exist on the same night. "It would be fun to share a night with them; the CW programs two hours a night and that'd be a pretty kick-ass night of television," he added.
