So every week, I post a topic here. You reply to it on the CSBG Twitter page (just write @csbg with your reply), our artists will each pick one of your suggestions and I will post their drawings based on your suggestions here every week. So every week you will have a new question and you will see the choices picked from the previous week.

To qualify, you have to be following @csbg when you reply - so go follow us and then give your answer to the following question/challenge (All suggestions due by 6pm Pacific Saturday).

The topic for the next Line is...

In honor of the passing of Albert Uderzo, team up a comic book character with Asterix or one of Asterix's many supporting characters.

Read on for the drawings that came about courtesy of the last question/challenge!

With the COVID-19 crisis getting more and more dire by the minute, the real superheroes are those people on the front lines of this crisis. The doctors, nurses, firefighters, grocery store clerks and pharmacists who are putting themselves on the line to help the rest of us. So the theme is to suggest someone you know who fits into those categories (the "essential" workers) and our artists will depict them as a superhero.

Enjoy!

I'll put them in alphabetical order based on the name of the Twitter user who made the suggestion.

All copyright and trademarks of the following characters are held by their respective owners.

This week, I pretty much left the artists to their own devices, with one exception, so I'll go in the order of when the artists submitted their pieces.

The art for this tribute to his wife, who is still working as a veterinarian in all of this, is by Merk. His website is here.

Brendan Tobin drew this tribute to medical professionals. Here is his website.

Nick Perks is the artist for this one about nursing home workers. Here is his website.

Gene Guilmette drew this police officer one, using a police officer he saw in the news as the inspiration for the visage. Gene's website is here.

Ryan Balmer did this drawing dedicated to the National Health Service in England. Here is his website.

Axel Medellin drew this tribute to all of the moms out there dealing with their kids during this crisis. His website is here.

Finally, based on a suggestion by daviddwilliams of his friend, Lee, a stocker at Walmart, Nick Perks is also the artist for this one. Here is his website.

Wonderful, touching work, everyone!

Okay, folks, go make suggestions for next week!

And, to our readers AND artists - stay safe!
