LEGO is giving The Mandalorian's Razor Crest the Ultimate Collector Series treatment, announcing a new 6,187-piece "build and display" model of the Star Wars series' iconic starship.The Ultimate Collector Series version of the Razor Crest was unveiled on the LEGO website. It retails for $599.99 and includes five LEGO minifigures: The Mandalorian, The Mythrol, Kuiil (all standard figures), Grogu (in a pram), and Blurrg (buildable figure). Key features of the model include easy access to its detailed interior; side hatches and a cargo compartment (complete with weapons cabinet); a detachable escape pod; and a display stand. The Razor Crest is one of several high-profile LEGO sets based on Disney-owned properties released in recent months. The toy manufacturer has also rolled out a slate of products Marvel-inspired products, such as the Spider-Man play set "Attack on the Spider-Lair" that hit the market in August 2022. This 466-piece set is targeted at younger fans and assembles into an elaborate crime-fighting HQ that boasts a skateboard ramp, training equipment, computer monitors, basketball hoop and Spider-Cycle. "Attack on the Spider-Lair" also comes packaged with six LEGO minifigures: three different versions of Spider-Man, plus individual Green Goblin and Venom figures.

LEGO continues to cater to older MCU fans as well, releasing a new, 2,708-piece Doctor Strange-themed set that same month. A 12.5-inch high, three-story recreation of Stephen Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, the set features references to multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe installments aside from Doctor Strange, including Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. To help fans re-enact scenes from these films, the Sanctum Sanctorum includes nine LEGO minifigures: Doctor Strange, Wong, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ebony Maw, Master Mordo, Sinister Strange, Dead Strange and The Scarlet Witch

More recently, an upcoming LEGO set seemingly spoiled the identity of the new Black Panther ahead of the November 2022 release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. LEGO dropped a new look at the "Shuri's Sunbird" vehicle which included a close-up view of the Shuri minifigure it comes with, making it clear that the design printed on the figure's body closely resembles the Black Panther suit. This appears to confirm rumors that Shuri will take over the Black Panther mantle from her brother T'Challa in Wakanda Forever, although fans won't know for certain until the movie arrives.

LEGO's Ultimate Collector Series version of the Razer Crest goes on sale Oct. 7, 2022.
