The upcoming Disney animated film Raya and the Last Dragon will premiere on Disney+ Premier Access the same day as its theatrical release.Disney made the announcement at its Walt Disney Investor Day call. Raya and the Last Dragon follows Raya and Tuk Tuk's journey through the five regions of Kumandra to find the last dragon in the world. It was recently announced that Awkwafina has joined the film as Sisu, a dragon in human form, who encounters Raya on her journey and needs the warrior princess' help to become her true dragon self.

Directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada and written by Paul Briggs and John Ripa, Ray and the Last Dragon stars Kelly Marie Tran and Awkwafina. The animated movie premieres in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access March 5, 2021.
