Ray Fisher Drops a Cyborg Tease in New Photo With Zack Snyder

Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has reunited with Justice League director Zack Snyder.

The meeting wouldn't necessarily be anything newsworthy -- Fisher has made his support of the filmmaker crystal clear, especially with his "I <3 ZS" shirt -- but it's what the actor wrote that's causing fans to speculate.

In a tweet that features the photo of the actor and the director in what is presumably Snyder's weight room, Fisher wrote, "Me and the Cap’n making it happen," accompanied by the "#BORGLIFE" hashtag. However, it's worth noting the actor has used that hashtag with tweets that have nothing to do with DC Extended Universe projects.

What is Fisher teasing, though? For some fans, this is generating hope for the release of a "Snyder Cut" of Justice League. It's obvious from early trailers, and pre-release interviews, which frequently referred to Cyborg as the "heart" of the film, that a significant portion of the actor's rule was lost in the final edit. Still, there's no indication that Warner Bros. has any intentions of releasing an alternate version of the 2017 film.

Although Snyder won't direct another DCEU film, he remains as an executive producer of Aquaman and Wonder Woman 1984. It's certainly possible he's similarly involved with the long-planned Cyborg solo movie. Or, and this is perhaps more likely, that Fisher has a role in another Snyder project, like The Fountainhead.
