Insomniac Games has detailed the extent of the accessibility features players can expect to see in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart at its launch on June 11.

The list of features is categorized by section -- including extensive spots for gameplay, visuals, heads-up display (HUD), controls, shortcuts, controller and audio. The accessibility features range from those related to difficulty adjustments and mechanical toggles to visual adjustments and auditory balancing. Some of the highlights include: full remapping control of the DualSense controller, fully-customizable color shaders and customizable button shortcuts and a full range of toggles for combat assistance. You can find a complete list of the accessibility features on Insomniac Games' support section for the game.

Fully-customizable color shaders mean that players with colorblindness or vision impairments are able to experience the game in a way that's comfortable for them. Full controller remapping, along with toggles for combat assistance allows players with limited or reduced mobility to alter how the controller responds to their inputs, and creates a wider spectrum of ways for players to interact with their device. Difficulty options and customizable button shortcuts give players wider control over how they enjoy the game.

The accessibility features in the game had been highlighted previously in Sony's State of Play presentation on the game, though the features were demonstrated through a gameplay reel as opposed to a dedicated and detailed list. As mentioned on the page featuring the list, Insomniac Games is hoping to demonstrate their dedication to creating games that have a positive impact upon players as well as fostering an atmosphere of producing accessible games for a diverse audience.

At the conclusion of the list, Insomniac specifies that the options included do not necessarily complete the full list of future options, and that they are "excited" about their ability to add and continue to add features that allow for accessibility. "We're able to transfer new features from game to game and are building a foundation that will grow our accessibility features and allow our games to reach more players," the description reads. Finally, the post adds that if an accessibility feature is not currently available in the list that may benefit the player, it can be requested via Insomniac's feedback page.

Developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart arrives on PlayStation 5 June 11.
