After the acquisition of FOX by Disney, the X-Men and Fantastic Four properties can return to Marvel, and the future of the MCU has never looked brighter. After a decade of films, everyone is wondering what heroes will appear in the next chapter. Here are the ten most powerful Avengers who have yet to make their MCU debut.

10 Tigra

One of the first heroes that has to be mentioned is a longtime Avengers staple, Tigra. Originally a non-powered hero known as The Cat, Greer Grant was later injured in a battle with Hydra and was granted the power of the Tigra, thanks to the mysterious otherworldly beings known as the Cat People.

Transforming into a half-human/half-cat person, she has orange and black striped fur, was granted sharp claws and was given an item that allows her to transform back into a human when necessary. She has superhuman strength, speed, stamina and agility.

9 Namor

One of the more powerful anti-heroes to ever join the Avengers (for a time) and a fan favorite request to join the MCU, it's Namor the Sub-Mariner. The mutant son of a human sea captain and an Atlantean Princess, Namor grew up as an outsider due to his pink complexion in comparison to the blue-skinned Atlanteans.

The Prince of Atlantis helped fight with Captain America during WWII, and later became one of Atlantis’s fiercest warriors. His journey is often troubled, making him either an anti-hero or vengeance-seeking threat to the surface dwellers who cross him.

8 Nova

The interesting thing about this next Avenger is that there have been a couple of versions of him to exist in the Marvel Universe. In this instance let’s talk about Sam Alexander, aka Nova of the Nova Corps.

The Nova Corps is a powerful cosmic police force who use the Nova Force, granting each member superhuman strength, speed, flight, energy powers and more. Sam’s entry into the MCU could allow the older Nova, Richard Rider, to become a mentor to the young hero, and could lead to the formation of the young team of heroes The Champions.

7 Wonder Man

A unique Avenger that many fans have been clamoring to see come to life in the MCU has to be Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. The son of a business rival of Tony Stark, he gained his abilities from Baron Zemo in an attempt to stop the Avengers. His conscience won out in the end and he helped stop Zemo’s Masters of Evil by sacrificing himself.

Since then, he has been an Avenger, an arrogant actor and stuntman, and a world-saving hero. With strength equal to Thor's, Wonder Man has super strength, stamina, agility, reflexes and durability.

6 Beast

One of the more well-known Avengers that recently became available to the MCU after Disney acquiring FOX was Hank McCoy, aka Beast. With blue fur, animal-like features and superhuman strength and speed, Hank still manages to gain notoriety for being one of the most brilliant minds in the Marvel Universe.

He later joined the Avengers, helping to bridge the gap between them and the X-Men. After the passing of Professor Xavier, he was tasked with joining the Illuminati, during the lead up to the Marvel multiverse event Secret Wars.

5 Hercules

One of the more powerful heroes to ever join the Avengers is also based on the classic Greek hero Heracles. Pulled from his time in Ancient Greece by the villain Immortus to battle Thor, he would later become a longtime ally of Thor and the Avengers.

Later he would officially join the Avengers roster, and have many adventures along the way. After Thor’s saga has been fully explored, the MCU could introduce Hercules via their relationship and explore the role of Olympus in the MCU as a whole, including the likes of Zeus.

4 The Thing

One of the more popular heroes that the MCU can now add to the Avengers roster has to be The Thing, aka Ben Grimm. One of the founding members of the Fantastic Four, Ben was hit with cosmic radiation that turned his entire body into stone and rock permanently.

While his loyalty is always to the Fantastic Four and the family they created, he joined Luke Cage’s Avengers alongside heroes like Wolverine and Spider-Man during the Heroic Age comic era. This would be the perfect way to introduce heroes into the MCU, as a member of the New Avengers.

3 She-Hulk

One of the fan-favorite Avengers that fans have been dying to see come to the MCU has to be She-Hulk, a truly powerful hero. The cousin of Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters is a brilliant attorney who gains the power of the Hulk after a blood transfusion from her cousin.

Retaining her mind and intelligence inside of her new Hulk body, She-Hulk joins the Avengers during multiple eras of the comics, and with the Hulk’s arm now injured during the events of Endgame, the MCU could use another heavy-hitter like She-Hulk during the new Avengers era.

2 Hyperion

One of the most powerful heroes to join the Avengers in recent years has to be Hyperion. Basically Marvel’s version of DC Comics hero Superman, Hyperion is unique in that there have been multiple versions of the character from alternate timelines and universe over the years. Originally the leader of the evil Squadron Sinister, he later appeared as the heroic leader of the team Squadron Supreme.

He recently joined the Avengers when battling the cosmic being Ex Nihilo on Mars, before later joining a more brutal and controversial Squadron Supreme of America, created by former Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Phil Coulson.

1 Sentry

The most powerful hero not yet brought into the MCU has to be Robert Reynolds, aka The Sentry. A very complex character, the Sentry is a nearly unstoppable superhuman who is very unstable. The Sentry and the villain known as the Void are two halves of his personality.

Regaining the power of the Sentry (which is described as the power of a million exploding suns), the Sentry is known for destroying Carnage in space, joining the Avengers, and struggling to control the Void.
