We might not be able to smell it yet, but fans of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can certainly get a good glimpse of what the former WWE wrestler is currently cooking up for the upcoming video game adaptation movie Rampage via the star's Instagram feed.

The actor has just posted two new photos from the film's set. In the first image, fans can see the man himself alongside his costars Naomie Harris, best known as Moneypenny in Skyfall and Spectre, playing a "groundbreaking geneticist from CRISPR" and Jeffery Dean Morgan, best know for his role as Negan in The Walking Dead, playing an agent from "the OGA – the 'other' government agency."

The second picture shows Johnson facing off against performance capture artist Jason Liles, who plays George, the albino gorilla transformed into a destructive giant capable of tearing down skyscrapers with his bear hands.

In his post, Johnson notes the massive amount of research Lies put into his role, explaining "Jason studied gorillas for months preparing for this performance capture role - facial expressions, sounds, habits and emotions. Spectacular."

The star also lavished praise on the work of visual effects company Weta Digital in the performance capture process, and particularly the "facial capture helmet" that can can "record every muscle movement and expression and emotion of George as [he] goes on a rampage."

Directed by Brad Peyton from a script by Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal, “Rampage” stars Dwayne Johnson, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald and Breanne Hill. The film arrives in theaters on April 20, 2018.
