NECA has unveiled its first two action figures based on AMC's adaptation of "Preacher."
The 6.75-inch series debuts with Reverend Jesse Custer and immortal Irish vampire Cassidy, modeled on the likenesses of stars Dominic Cooper and Joseph Gilgun, respectively.
Jesse's figure captures the title character with its pensive gaze and closed fists, while Cassidy seems slightly less playful than his television or comic book counterpart with a wide-eyed stare to the side.
Each figure comes with character-specific accessories that will be immediately recognizable to fans of the series: Hard Hammer Lager, an Old Timer Coffee Can and a book of hymns for Jesse, and Hard Hammer Lager and a bottle of Ratwater Whiskey for Cassidy.
The figures will be available in December, making for the perfect sacrilegious Christmas present.
Based on the acclaimed DC Comics/Vertigo series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, "Preacher" follows Jesse Custer, a Texas preacher whose becomes inhabited by the renegade spawn of an angel and a demon, giving him the ability to control people with just a word.
Produced by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin, the 13-episode second season of "Preacher" will air in 2017 on AMC.
