Acclaimed horror author R.L. Stine, perhaps best known for Goosebumps and Fear Street, has a signed a four-book original graphic novel (OGN) deal with BOOM! Studios.
“I'm so lucky to have been able to scare so many generations of kids,” Stine said in a statement. “Now I feel lucky to be going just beyond Goosebumps to a whole new medium of fright and chilling laughs. I'm hoping that BOOM! is the sound of an explosion of fun in a whole new world for me."

Stine's most recent work in the world of comics was Marvel Comics' Man-Thing series, which he worked on with several guest artists, including Daniel Warren Johnson and German Peralta.
The first of Stine's four middle-grade supernatural horror OGNs will be released through BOOM! Studios' KaBOOM! imprint in fall 2019.
