A Quiet Place will become a full-blown shared universe thanks to a new film in the hit horror series.

Jeff Nichols will direct and write a third film in the franchise, which will serve as a spinoff that will establish a fleshed-out world, according to Deadline. The film is based on an idea by John Krasinski, the creative force behind the previous two films. Right now, the untitled film is set to release in 2022.
