Ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on Friday, Paramount Pictures has debuted the chilling final trailer for the horror film A Quiet Place.

Directed and co-written by John Krasinski (The Office), who also stars in the film with Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow), A Quiet Place follows a family that must live in silence or else draw the attention of mysterious creatures drawn by sound.

In the modern horror thriller A Quiet Place, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.

The minute-long trailer of course only hints at the origin of the threat, with a montage of news reports about a "massive invasion" and "total devastation." In between early praise for the film, we get flashes of the creatures, along with plenty of screaming and running.

With the embargo now lifted, A Quiet Place stands at 100 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer, from 36 reviews. It's being called terrifying, riveting, intelligent, and "the best horror film since Get Out."

Directed by John Krasinski from a script he wrote with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck, A Quiet Place stars Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. The film opens Thursday night in select theaters, and Friday nationwide.
