You can now watch select content from Quibi on YouTube.

The streaming startup created by Jeffery Katzenberg and Meg Whitman has posted episodes of Most Dangerous Game, The Stranger and Dummy for free viewing as the signup period for its recently 90-day free trial comes to an end. However, the signature Turnstyle technology -- which allows viewers to experience content either vertically or horizontally --- will only be available on the mobile version and not connected-TV devices.

Founded in 2018, Quibi made its official debut on April 6 and features content that runs for 10 minutes or less. The service costs $5 per month for the ad-supported version and $8 without ads. Within its first week, the service reported 1.7 million downloads, which Whitman said "exceeded our plans and expectations." However, Katzenberg has stressed that the service should be judged long-term.

Quibi still plans to compete against other streaming giants such as Netflix and Disney +. In fact, while subscribers could initially only watch shows on mobile devices, the service has now opened up the ability to cast to television sets.

Quibi is available to download on most mobile devices, and the premium streaming service is offering a 90-day free trial for those that sign up by April 30.
