Much has changed in the curious case of The Hateful Eight.

After nearly abandoning the film following a script leak, Quentin Tarantino's Western thriller is now expected to be the Oscar-nominated director's next project. Production on The Hateful Eight should get under way in the coming months — but Tarantino is already ahead of the game, and ready to give a little bit of a Hateful tease to the world at large.

Deadline reports the first teaser trailer for The Hateful Eight will arrive next week, paired with the release of Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Although production hasn't begun on the film, the website confirmed Tarantino has "managed to shoot a teaser trailer." There are rumors he Hateful Eight trailer won't be officially released online, which means if you want to see it, you'll need to track it down in the form of Sin City.

Tarantino's The Hateful Eight is expected to star Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell and more.
