Starting this Thursday, Ice Cream Man creators W. Maxwell Prince, Martin Morazzo, Chris O'Halloran and Good Old Neon will release all-new mini-comics through the website QuarantineComix.com.

Published in association with Image Comics, the 2-4 page issues will be sold as PDF files for $1.99 each. Half of all proceeds will go towards the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, an organization that donates to struggling bookstores and comic book retailers across the country.

The benefit follows Image's announcement that the publisher will not release any new print or digital comics this week, in light of distribution struggles due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As retailers temporarily shutter normal business operations in the face of the global health crisis, Diamond Comic Distributors has subsequently halted scheduled payments to publishers this week due to disruptions in the cash flow.

Launched in January 2018, Ice Cream Man is an anthology horror series that delivers tales of existential terror while pushing the boundaries of the comic book medium, linked by a sinister ice cream vendor. The comic series has been picked up for a television adaptation by the upcoming streaming platform Quibi.
