Images reportedly leaked from the set of 20th Century Fox's upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot have surfaced online, specifically of the film's villain, Doctor Doom.

If these pictures are legitimate, it's hard to discern much definitively about Doctor Doom's appearance in the finished film, as the images see the character in front of a CGI green screen, with visual effects to be added in later. The character's distinct mask appears to be keeping with comic book tradition; whether the rest of the armor -- if these images are indeed from the "Fantastic Four" set -- is how Doom will actually appear in the film or something worn temporarily to assist in the visual effects process remains to be seen.

The images were originally distributed by a site called Geek Pride UK, with the post -- and the entire site -- currently inactive, and instead redirecting to a "Database Error" page. The images can still be found on the Superhero Report Twitter account and outlets such as Uproxx.

This is the second significant purported leak from the "Fantastic Four" set, following an image of the bust of the Thing surfacing about a month ago. That image quickly circulated online, leading to outlets receiving takedown notices from 20th Century Fox.

In the forthcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot film, Doctor Doom -- the FF's long-time archenemy, introduced by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962 -- will be played by Toby Kebbell. "Fantastic Four," directed by Josh Trank, is scheduled for release on June 19, 2015.
