Punisher: Fan Artist Imagines a More Comics-Accurate Jigsaw

When Billy Russo/Jigsaw's new look for Punisher Season 2 was revealed earlier this month, some fans noted that the damage done to his face at the end of the first season didn't leave him looking nearly as horrifying as his comics counterpart. Now, a new piece of fan art imagines a more comics-accurate look for Jigsaw.

Popular fan artist BossLogic posted a reimagined of Russo on Twitter that shows a much more horrifying look for the villain. "If the surgery wasn't amazing in the next season of [The Punisher]," BossLogic wrote alongside the image.

Although Russo will take on many of the qualities of his comics counterpart, actor Ben Barnes revealed in December that the show wouldn't actually call him Jigsaw.

According to the official synopsis for Season 2,

Former marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace a life as The Punisher.
