With the second season of The Punisher set to hit Netflix later this month, the show's official Facebook page has released a new motion poster highlighting the titular vigilante's tools of the trade, alongside an ominous caption that reads, "There's no turning back now."

The poster allows users to get a detailed view of a duffel bag, presumably belonging to Frank Castle, which contains a pistol, duct tape, money, a first aid kit and, of course, the bulletproof vest featuring the character's iconic skull symbol. A pair of black boots can also be seen of the floor just below the bag.

Moreover, the bag is sitting on a bed in what appears to be a motel room, which could play into the theme of Frank going on a reflective journey following the events of the previous season.

"We find Frank kind of trying to fulfill the promise he made at the end of Season 1, which is that -- you know -- he ended that thing with, 'I no longer have a war to fight,'" showrunner Steve Lightfoot explained. "He's spent the time trying to just get by. He's been sort of wandering America, in a way having a look at the country that he fought for that he's never really seen and trying to be a guy who can fit in and leave all the violence behind."

But this is the Punisher we're talking about.

"I think, you know, ultimately for Frank, it's an integral part of his character and it doesn't take him long in episode one to find a new fight to get involved in," Lightfoot continued. "I've always kind of said, you know, at the point Frank just retires and opens a bar, there's no show, so we do always have to find him a new fight to have."

From the looks of this new poster, it appears that whatever new fight Frank finds himself in, he's certainly ready for it.

Arriving on Netflix in January, The Punisher Season 2 stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim, Floriana Lima as Krista Dumont and Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix.
