Marvel and Netflix have released a brand new teaser video for The Punisher which may just contain a release date - if you can crack the code. In fact, there may be no code at all and we're just clutching at straws, but it's to be expected considering how tight-lipped Marvel has been regarding the Netflix series' release date.

The video is of a surveillance stream, with some ominous numbers that are open to interpretation.

Just earlier today, a brand new image from the series debuted. Showing Frank Castle in action before his vigilante days, the image is the latest tease of the usage of flashbacks in the show. “It’s the only thing that silences the demons, temporarily,” Bernthal explained. “There’s going to be an attempt to move beyond The Punisher, but that’s something he can’t shake. There’s part of me that’s hungry to get back into the darkness, that’s excited to see it fall apart.”
