The Punisher Season 2 will see the return of Ben Barnes as Billy Russo. Following his confrontation with Frank Castle at the end of Season 1, the character is set to undergo a transformation that will have him looking a lot more like his comics counterpart, Jigsaw, even if he's not adopting the nickname. A new motion poster is now giving fans a better look at that transformation.

The motion poster, which comes from The Punisher's official Twitter, shows Russo's transformation from pretty boy to masked and scarred across the two seasons.

Russo was an immensely dangerous foe in Season 1, so he'll likely be at least as formidable this time around. With his face heavily scarred, Russo's pretty boy act won't play anymore, and it seems he'll choose to cover his scars with a creepy looking mask, which seems to represent the damage done to his skull.

Given Netflix's recent cancellations of Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil, most reports seem to indicate Punisher Season 2 will also be the show's final outing.
