This week's Line it is Drawn was about the Punisher. Our artists had to draw the vigilante hunting down villains from all throughout popular culture, so not just comic book villains.

However, due to some miscommunication/missed e-mails, Nick Perks had TWO extra Line it is Drawn pieces ready to go this week that did not make it into the Line. Normally, if I miss a piece, I'll just edit it into the Line and be done with it, but TWO extra pieces? Nick noted that we could just wait until Thanksgiving, when we do our annual "Thanksgiving Leftovers" week (where our artists get to finish pieces that they didn't manage to get done during the year), but that's so long away that I figured it was better to just share Nick's two extra pieces in its own mini-Line today!

Enjoy!

I'll put the two pieces in alphabetical order based on the name of the Twitter user who made the suggestion.

And actually, oddly enough, no one suggested the Joker this time. When we did the comic book villains one, EVERYONE suggested the Joker, so it was interesting that while a few comic book villains still popped up when we expanded it to just "villains from popular culture in general" (Chris Simmonds, for instance, did an excellent Punisher vs. Galactus piece), no one suggested the Joker. However, I guess Nick assumed that someone would, and so...

Great stuff, Nick!

We'll see Nick again this Friday in this week's "Comic Book Characters in Famous Music Videos" edition of The Line it is Drawn!
