WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Punisher Kill Krew #3 by Gerry Duggan, Juan Ferreyra and VC's Cory Petit, on sale Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The Punisher is one of Marvel's deadliest vigilantes, which oftentimes puts him in conflict with other heroes. However, that doesn't stop the street-level hero from raging his one-man war on the scum of the Earth -- may they be human or monster.

Some of the latter invaded Earth during War of the Realms, with dark elves, frost giants and fire demons marching on Midgard. Marvel's heroes were able to win the day, but no one ever thinks about the fallout from these blockbuster event series. Just because the bad guys were defeated doesn't mean all of their forces are rounded up in a neat manner. Many times, splinter cells find a way to either hide out in enemy territory, or retreat back to the safety of their home.

Committing crimes and running back into the shadows isn't something the Punisher is going to allow to happen. Understanding the pain that comes from losing a family, Frank Castle is determined to avenge the orphans left behind in the War of the Realms. A preview of Punisher Kill Krew #3 follows Frank on this mission of vengeance, and his next stop takes him to Jotunheim, the land of the Frost Giants. While he expects to find and assassinate a Frost Giant named Kasyckla, Punisher instead rescues one of the X-Men's classic villains: the Unstoppable Juggernaut.

Joining Punisher on his quest is Daredevil supporting character, Foggy Nelson, who he also rescued earlier. Punisher uses Foggy as a distraction to keep the Frost Giants busy while he attacks them from behind. The Frost Giants appear to be performing a ritual on Juggernaut to steal his Cyttorak powers, but the ritual is cut short when Foggy appears.

The distraction is enough for Punisher to let loose with a barrage of gunfire, but the bullets aren't enough to pierce the Frost Giants' skin. Foggy's clumsy escape run accidentally frees Juggernaut, who quickly plows through the Frost Giants as if they were made out of butter. The entire scene would be pretty gruesome if not for their blood being a greenish-blue goo.

With the Frost Giants dead, Punisher, Juggernaut and Foggy Nelson climb out of the Jotunheim cave to make a hasty retreat. Punisher may be a cold-blooded killer, but he does follow a code. Juggernaut hasn't crossed him or killed any innocent people, so Punisher agrees to let Juggernaut hitch a ride in his van. This motley kill krew has more people to save and giants to slay when Punisher Kill Krew #3 arrives in stores Sept. 25.
