After playing a major role in the recent crossover event "Joker War," the Clown Prince of Crime's murderous sidekick Punchline is taking center stage in November's oversized special issue Punchline Special #1.

Written by co-creator James Tynion IV and Sam Johns, illustrated by Mirka Andolfo and colored by Romulo Fajardo, Jr., the upcoming one-shot details Punchline's first meeting with the Joker and Batman, inspiring her to take on her own supervillain persona. An unlettered preview of the the special -- including a standard cover illustrated by Yasmine Putri, a design variant by co-creator Jorge Jimenez and variant by Frank Cho -- show the fateful moment where college student Alexis Kaye's life changed forever.
