Capital One, which regularly features Samuel L. Jackson as an advertising spokesperson, added some nostalgic flair to its latest holiday commercial by reuniting the actor with his Pulp Fiction co-star John Travolta.

The ad sees Santa Claus, played by Travolta, buying Christmas gifts for his elves while drinking a Pulp Fiction-inspired milkshake that includes "9,000 tins of hot chocolate, 3,000 bags of marshmallows, 5,000 'World's best elf' mugs and 3,000 bolo ties." However, needing a coupon code to lower the costs, Santa receives a video message from Jackson, who lets him know that "Capital One Shopping instantly searches for available coupon codes and automatically applies them." As it turns out, Mrs. Claus had already downloaded Capital One Shopping to her computer and was impressed with the results.

The commercial also features some humorous jabs at the actors' Pulp Fiction personas. When Jackson asks Santa if this Capital One gift gets him off the Naughty List, Santa questions whether Jackson is "off the naughty words," poking fun at the actor's proficiency for swearing on and off-camera. It even ends with Santa and Mrs. Claus recreating Pulp Fiction's iconic dance scene to the tune of "Run Rudolph Run," with singer Chuck Berry also performing the original dance scene song "You Can Never Tell."

Released in 1994, Pulp Fiction arguably became one of the most iconic films of the 1990s, but is also widely credited with reviving Travolta's acting career and turning Jackson into a recognizable Hollywood star. The two played Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, a pair of contract killers working for the local crime boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), with the pair getting into a series of screwups and existential crises after performing a hit. Told in a non-linear fashion, the story saw these hitmen interact with various members of the L.A. criminal world, including Marsellus' wife Mia (Uma Thurman), whom Vincent takes on a date, boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) and "cleaner" Winston Wolfe (Harvey Keitel).

Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Pulp Fiction stars John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Ving Rhames, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Christopher Walken and Bruce Willis.
