Peacock has ordered a third Psych film, Psych 3: This Is Gus. According to Variety, the film will follow Shawn (James Roday Rodriguez) and Gus (Dulé Hill) as they seek out Selene's (Jazmyn Simon) estranged husband, while Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) reconsiders the future of his career. Original cast members Maggie Lawson, Kristen Nelson and Corbin Bernsen will reprise their roles from the USA Network series. Series created Steve Franks will direct and co-write the script Rodriguez. The two will also executive produce with Hill and Chris Henze. Production will begin this summer in Vancouver.

Psych aired for eight seasons and 120 episodes from 2006 to 2014. The series follows Rodriguez's Shawn Spencer, whose weighted memory and observational skills allow him to convince people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. Hill stars as Burton "Gus" Guster, his reluctant partner and best friend.

The comedy-drama has already spawned two films. Psych: The Movie aired in 2017 on USA Network, while Psych 2: Lassie Come Home premiered on Peacock in July 2020.

Directed by Steve Franks, Psych 3: This Is Gus stars James Roday Rodriguez, Dulé Hill, Jazmyn Simon, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Kristen Nelson and Corbin Bernsen. The film will stream on Peacock.
