This feature is basically a counterpart to our Left Unresolved feature. That feature is for plotlines that were, well, left unresolved. In this one, though, we spotlight examples of long unresolved stories that WERE ultimately resolved by later writers. The only rule is that at least four years have to pass between the plot point being introduced and it being resolved.
Today, we look at the resolution to a murder mystery - the murder of Mystique and Sabretooth's son, Graydon Creed..
So Graydon Creed was introduced in the early 1990s as the son of Mystique and Sabretooth. He was a total jerk. There was a plot in 1996 where he decided to run for President on an anti-mutant campaign.
In 1996's X-Factor #130 (by Howard Mackie, Eric Battle and Al Milgrom), there are rumors that he is going to be assassinated and Val Cooper believes that Mystique is the one who is going to do it. So Val tasks X-Factor with stopping Mystique (who has enlisted her old friend Pyro for help)...
The mystery was pretty much dropped and then entirely dropped when X-Factor ended with issue #149.
