Proton Packs Spawn New Gadgets in 'Ghostbusters' BTS Video

The Ghostbusters are sporting new gear, thanks to improvements on their proton packs in this new behind-the-scenes video.

While starting out with ghost sensors and video cameras, the team will develop not only the proton packs that fans know and love, but much more proton-inspired weapons. "In the world of ghost warfare, these ladies have it going on," says Kate McKinnon.

This film will include proton grenades, proton gloves, ghost chippers, ghost shockers, and ghost pistols -- all inspired by the proton packs. "There's no movie magic. Do they look heavy and sharp? That's because they are," says Melissa McCarthy, who is joined by Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, and Chris Hemsworth in the film.

"Ghostbusters" is directed by Paul Feig and opens in theaters July 15.
