After a month-long, extremely public shoot on the streets of Toronto, "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer announced via Twitter that the film's production is going dark as it presumably moves on to closed sound stages and interior sets.

Well we survived the streets. Time to go dark now. Remember, only the tiniest glimpse has been exposed. Our surprises are intact.- David Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) May 31, 2015

Considering just how much of the production has been glimpsed ever since our first look at Will Smith on the set back in late April, Ayer made sure to mention that "only the tiniest glimpse has been exposed." Fans have had reason to worry about the number of major reveals left in the film seeing as how a major one -- the fact that Batman plays a role in the film -- was given away thanks to fan-shot videos and photos. We know that both the Batmobile and the Dark Knight are involved in the movie.

In addition to Smith's Deadshot, we've also seen Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Karen Fukuhara's Katana, Jared Leto's Joker, Scott Eastwood's unnamed character and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's Killer Croc all on the set at one point or another.

"Suicide Squad," based on the DC Comics team and starring Smith, Eastwood, Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot, is scheduled for release on Aug. 5, 2016.
