Universal's Cowboy Ninja Viking is adding to its cast.

It was announced earlier today that Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra is in talks to join Chris Pratt in the upcoming adaption of the Image comic of the same name. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chopra will play Pratt's love interst in the film. The actress reportedly beat out a slew of other actresses for the role following a successful chemistry test with Pratt.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is based on the 2009-2010 Image Comics title of the same name by writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo. The story focuses on a counter-intelligence unit formed by psychotherapist Dr. Sebastian Ghislain which is made up of dissociative identity disorder patients who are trained to be agents. This marks the first bit of casting since Pratt initially signed on for the project back in 2014.

Chopra, who is perhaps best known stateside for her leading role in ABC's Quantico, recently starred as the villain in Baywatch, as well as the Sundance feature A Kid Like Jake. Of course, while this will mark her biggest film credit to date stateside, Chopra has established herself as a big star within the Bollywood world.

Game of Thrones director Michelle MacLaren will direct Cowboy Ninja Viking from a script by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and David Reese. The film, which stars Chris Pratt, is set to hit theaters on June 28, 2019.
