As The Walking Dead moves through its unexpectedly shortened tenth season, AMC has released the prologue for the upcoming season finale.

Picking up from the previous episode's cliffhanger ending, Yumiko, Ezekiel and Eugene venture into Charleston, where they meet the eccentric, heavily armed survivor Juanita Sanchez. Favoring the moniker "Princess" over "Queen," as the latter would make her seem "old and pretentious," the new character reveals she hadn't seen other survivors for a full year.

Princess quickly displays that, while appearing quirky and flamboyant, she is more than capable of handling herself as she engages a herd of walkers with her assault rifle that approaches the impromptu meeting.

AMC announced earlier this month that, due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, post-production on the original season finale could not be completed as planned. As a result, the season's upcoming fifteenth episode, titled "The Tower," will now serve as the Season 10 finale, with the season's original finale airing at a later date this year as a special episode.
