Things have already gotten hot for Barry Allen, but now they've reached the boiling point in our preview of this week's The Flash #56.

Writer Joshua Williamson and artist Scott Kolins pit the Scarlet Speedster against a Sage Force-infected Heat Wave, who's conjured up some deadly fire monsters that are wreaking havoc on Iron Heights Penitentiary. However, you can't have Heat Wave without Captain-- err, Commander Cold, so if Barry's going to stop his pyromaniac nemesis, he'd better hope the time-displaced Renegade can cool him down first.
