This November, BOOM! Studios' KaBOOM! imprint delves into the world of Greek mythology in Pandora's Legacy, an original graphic novel written by Kara Leopard and illustrated by Kelly and Nichole Matthews.

"If you're a fan of the myth of Pandora's Box, Prometheus and monsters/cryptids from mythology from mermaids to chupacabras we have a little bit of everything for you," Leopard said in a statement. "The myth we play with the most is Pandora's story because how would you feel if you were created with the sole purpose of cursing mankind? I wanted to delve more into her story and how she would have handled her aftermath after fulfilling her role Zeus gave her. This story follows her descendants and what her mission was for them."

"Pandora's Legacy is an exciting book for KaBOOM!, not only because I love the story and characters, but because it's setting the stage for more original content that we have in the works for our middle-grade imprint," BOOM! Studios editor Witney Leopard added. "I couldn't be happier with the amazing work that Kara, Kelly, and Nichole have done on this book. They are able to take a known story and bring it to life in an all-new way that has you laughing while keeping some of the dark undertones that Greek myths tend to have. We have a lot of amazing things in the works for KaBOOM!, and I'm thrilled to have Pandora's Legacy leading the charge this fall."
