Writer Robert Venditti and artist Ethan Van Sciver team up for the next chapter in the ongoing "Darkstars Rising" arc, and while the Green Lanterns have been able to overcome major obstacles before, they've never faced a threat quite like this new iteration of the Darkstars. After all, Hal wouldn't seek the aid of Hector Hammond if the situation didn't truly warrant it.
