They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but only one comes to mind when seeing this picture that Nichelle Nichols tweeted of herself with President Obama: geek! Sure, President Obama has shown up in comic books, from The Amazing Spider-Man to Savage Dragon, and even appeared on an episode of Mythbusters, but seeing the leader of the free world standing next to a cast member from Star Trek: The Original Series and doing Spock's iconic "Live long and prosper" salute? That's next level presidential geek stuff right there!

The photo was taken Feb. 29, when Nichols traveled to Washington, D.C., to speak at a NASA event. She made a stopover at the White House, where she met the President in the Oval Office. "Months ago Pres Obama was quoted as saying that he’d had a crush on me when he was younger," she wrote in a tweet. "I asked about that & he proudly confirmed it!" The confirmations kept on coming when the President told her that he was, in fact, a Trekker. Well, that certainly shored up the hardcore geek vote!
