Along with the bloody new trailer released this morning, Fox has debuted an equally gruesome poster for director Shane Black's The Predator, accompanied by the film's tagline "The Hunt Has Evolved."

The image, which debuts the Predator's head ripped off its body, clearly references the face-off between two hunters in the film, seen briefly in the trailer. The Predators arrive on a small town on Earth due to the actions of a boy, played by Jacob Tremblay, who controls a version of their ship that he believes is a toy. Unfortunately, the new Predators are deadlier than ever after genetically upgrading themselves with the DNA of other species they've hunted.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

Directed by Shane Black from a script he wrote with Fred Dekker, The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Jane Thomas, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski. The film arrives in theaters on Sept. 14.
