Jesse Custer, Tulip O'Hare and Cassidy will head back out on the road in June.

AMC has announced that "Preacher," the hit drama based on the Vertigo comic series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, will return for its 13-episode second season on Monday, June 19, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The announcement comes just after AMC revealed the addition of six cast members in unspecified roles.

Developed by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin, "Preacher" combines elements of the supernatural with dark, twisted humor to tell the story of Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), whose body is inhabited by a mysterious entity, imbuing him with the ability to make other do his bidding with just a word.

Cooper is joined by Joseph Gilgun as Irish vampire Cassidy, Jesse's best friend; Ruth Negga as Tulip O'Hare, Jesse's gun-toting ex-girlfriend; Lucy Griffiths as waitress Emily Woodrow, Jesse's loyal right hand; Ian Colletti as Eugene Root, aka Arseface; W. Earl Brown as Sheriff Hugo Root; Tom Brooke and Anatol Yusef as the Adelphia angels Fiore and DeBlanc; and Graham McTavish as the bounty hunter The Saint of Killers.
