Deadline has reported that "Powers" has added another recurring cast member for its upcoming second season. Enrico Colantoni will join the Playstation Network series when it returns for its second season. Colantoni will play Senator Bailey Brown, an original character created for the series.

Colantoni's character is described as a former Power -- codenamed Cobalt Knight -- from Montana that now abstains from using his abilities and instead changes lives through his career as a senator. But Senator Brown isn't totally out of the superhuman game; he also serves as a leader in the Anti-Powers legislation.

Colantoni comes off of a four year recurring gig on "Person of Interest." He's also well-known for his role as Keith Mars on the fan favorite series "Veronica Mars" and stint as a series regular on "Flashpoint," as well as his work on '90s sitcoms like "Just Shoot Me" and "Hope and Gloria."

"Powers" returns in 2016 on the Playstation Network.
