The following contains major spoilers for Mighty Morphin #19, available now from Boom! Studios.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have journeyed through some truly breathtaking landscapes over the years. From explosive alien battlefields to the cosmic oasis that is Safe Haven, the Rangers have seen nearly everything in the past three decades. Of course, the story for the Power Rangers of the Boom! Studios' universe is just getting started compared to that of their small-screen counterparts. As such, it is no surprise that they are still discovering new and exciting spectacles, and the Lion Galaxy looks to be the most miraculous yet.

In the wake of the Eltarian invasion and their devastating battle with the interdimensional Empyreals, the Power Rangers have split up to cover as much ground as necessary during the recovery effort. While Rocky and Matthew have stayed behind to deal with whatever threat may rear its head, the rest of the Mighty Morphin team has taken to the stars in search of a new Command Center. Though their first venture didn't pay off, the team has managed to find another, more promising lead. As revealed in the pages of Mighty Morphin #19 (by Mat Groom, Moises Hidalgo, Raul Angulo, and Ed Dukeshire), the royal family of the Lion Galaxy just so happens to be in possession of a decommissioned Command Center of their very own, although there is no telling how willing they will be to share it.

First introduced in 2017's Ninja Steel, the Lion Galaxy of the television series is home to some of the most fantastical and frightening sights in the entire franchise. Apart from monstrous villains and striking sights to behold, the Lion Galaxy also brought Princess Viera into the Rangers' world. While Viera would go on to become a powerful ally of the heroes, their comic book counterparts aren't in nearly the same position.

Not only is King Vieron still alive, but there is no indication of what his views on the Power Rangers are just yet. As far as the Vieron of the original series was concerned, the Eltarian influence in the Lion Galaxy was off-putting enough for him to send them on their way. So far, the Vieron of the comics is openly hostile towards the Eltarian empire, though there are plenty of good reasons for him to be considering their track record.

It might not be likely that the Power Rangers find themselves up against yet another army of malicious aliens in the Lion Galaxy, but it is hard to imagine that they will have an easy time making any alliances. Both the Mighty Morphin and Omega Rangers know full well what the rest of the universe thinks about them, even its other super-powered peacekeepers in the S.P.D.

With any luck, the heroes will manage to convince King Vieron that they aren't a threat to his galaxy, not to mention that he should help them in their time of need. If not, their search for another Command Center could be extended yet again. Or even worse, they may end up becoming intergalactic fugitives for having the audacity to sneak their way into the wrong royal party.
