The latest batch of TV spots for the "Power Rangers" movie are here, and they bring with them plenty of superhero action, although not all of it appears to be intentional.

The first 30-second spot finds the future Rangers describing themselves as "screw ups," and with one of their number landing in detention for blowing up his lunchbox, it is hard to disagree — although seeing the exploding locker on screen is pretty cool.

The second spot is more about the morphin, with the Power Rangers suiting up and discussing the extent to which they are super heroes — are they more like Iron Man or Spider-Man? But that light-hearted discussion soon leads way to some fast fighting action and a high-octane confrontation with Rita Repulsa and the mighty Goldar — where's the Megazord when you really need it?

Directed by Dean Israelite and starring Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, R.J. Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Becky Gomez as the Yellow Ranger, Bryan Cranston as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa. “Power Rangers” hits theaters on March 24.
