A new report suggests the next installment of Power Rangers will return to its roots with the dino-themed Ryusoulger.

According to The Illuminerdi, Hasbro will be announcing the future installment next month. Ryusoulger has received mixed reactions from fans since premiering in March 2019 in Japan. However, the American company is known for taking the Japanese storylines and making them there own.

Hasbro had a lot of options to consider, including the train-themed ToQger, cops and robbers-themed Patranger VS Lupinranger, space-themed Kyuranger and wild animal-themed Zyuohger.

According to the site, Hasbro is not interested in Kyuranger due to its large roster --12 rangers! -- and safety concerns with the Yellow Ranger's costume. The Yellow Ranger's outward-pointing helmet poses a serious safety issue, and it would be seemingly be hard to get around.

Ryusoulger just aired its 40th episode in Japan. The series follows Ryusoulgers, a group of knights sworn to protect the planet from intergalactic threats. When the ancient Druidon Tribe returns to conquer Earth, it is up to the living generation of Ryusoulgers to protect the planet.

The next installment will not premiere until the end of 2021 as Power Rangers Beasts Morphers Season 2 is expected to premiere in early 2020. A trailer for the new season recently premiered.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers airs on Nickelodeon on Saturdays at 8 a.m. ET/PT.
