Few franchises are more synonymous with giant monster fights than Power Rangers and Godzilla, two Japanese creations known for their skyscraper-destroying fight scenes. Godzilla has faced his fair share of kaiju over the years, and The Power Rangers have come up against countless bizarre and powerful monsters who always manage to grow exponentially for a round two brawl.

Godzilla might seem to have the upper hand should he have to battle the bizarre monsters of the Power Rangers universe, but there's a few that could give Godzilla a run for his money. Here are five Power Rangers monsters we'd love to see fight the King of the Monsters.

Goldar

power rangers movie goldar

First up is a classic monster from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers era. Goldar was one of the first real threats the Rangers had to face, typically holding his own against the entire team. After being beaten by original Red Ranger, Jason, Goldar's role slowly swapped from capable right-hand man to comic relief. At full strength and supersized, however, Goldar might just have a shot against Godzilla, considering that he has enough strength to knock the Dino Megazord back.

As seen in the recent Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla managed to hold his own against Kong, a similarly giant, ape-like monster. Goldar does have two advantages, though: his wings and his sword. Unlike Kong, who for most of his fight did not wield a weapon, Goldar is armed. With the added ability of flight allowing him to stay out of Godzilla's grip and attack from the air, its possible that the golden warrior could get a few clean slices in. However, given how quickly Goldar became outclassed by the Rangers and other monsters, Godzilla likely holds superior strength over Rita's henchman and could decimate him with the Atomic Breath.

Titanisaur

The Titanisaur -- not to be confused with Godzilla's own Titanosaurus -- made its appearance in the Power Rangers Lost Galaxy series. Although it was mainly used as transport by Captain Mutiny, Titanisaur showed its true power when it attacked the human settlement of Terra Venture and decimated the Power Rangers' Megazords. The monster would have won if it hadn't overheated due to it carrying an entire castle on its back.

Godzilla would have a tough time against this homage to him. Titanisaur has two giant horns on its head it can use to strike with, as well as its own Atomic Breath-like energy blasts. It's also a capable swimmer, meaning Godzilla wouldn't gain any advantage from sea combat. The creature's most fearsome attack is its Lightning Breath, which obliterated skyscrapers and buildings in a single shot. Godzilla's only hope of defeating the monster would be to overheat it, which it could accomplish so long as Godzilla kept Titanisaur away from the sea. By using his Atomic Breath or by forcing Titanisaur into a volcanic environment, Godzilla could come out on top.

Ivan Ooze

The next baddie is a movie exclusive, appearing in the first ever Power Rangers movie as the main antagonist. Ivan Ooze was an ancient enemy of Zordon's, the first Power Rangers' mentor. After being accidentally released by an Angel Grove construction crew, Ivan concocted a somewhat ridiculous plan to take control of all the adults of Angel Grove to use them to unearth the parts of Ivan's Ecto-Morphicons -- basically evil Zords.

Godzilla would have his hands full with this Power Rangers monster. Ivan's plan and demeanor may be a bit ridiculous, but he's not lacking in power. Ivan managed to single-handedly destroy the Power Rangers' Control Center, cutting off their power and leaving Zordon near death. He also managed to overpower and trap the normal villains of the series, Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. Ivan's durability and shape shifting allows him to take nearly any form and survive almost any hit. His liquid structure makes physical attacks practically worthless, and if utilizing his Ecto-Morphicons, Hornitor and Scorpitron, Ivan has two giant minions he could use to distract or tire out Godzilla. If desperate enough, Ivan can even fuse with his robots, allowing him to directly fight against gigantic opponents.

Similar to the prior battles, Godzilla may have a chance with his Atomic Breath. However, the beam would have to hit all of Ivan, as any part of him that survives could regenerate over time. The Power Rangers defeated Ivan by throwing him into the path of a comet, effectively blowing him up in space. Perhaps in a Goku-like fashion Godzilla could launch Ivan into space into the path of an asteroid or even the Sun, allowing no part of Ivan to survive.

Karaoke Org

power rangers karaoke org

Jumping to the wackier side of Power Rangers villains, Karaoke Org likely wouldn't stand a chance against Godzilla. However, watching a giant karaoke monster attempt to beat the King of the Monsters with the power of song is too hilarious to pass up. Of course, Karaoke Org isn't totally defenseless; he has the power to shoot out laser-discs from his chest -- though they did little to no damage to the Wolf Ranger of the Wild Force team. Karaoke Org can sing so obnoxiously that people's ears hurt, but Godzilla isn't the type to take an attack lying down. Godzilla honestly doesn't even need to use his Atomic Breath; any projectile thrown at Karaoke Org could stun him long enough for Godzilla to get in close and take him down.

Overall, Karaoke Org just doesn't have the snuff to beat Godzilla. His laser-disc abilities and music note blasts might throw Godzilla off at first due to them being unique attacks. As we've seen in past kaiju battles, though, Godzilla is excellent at adapting in combat and using his environment to his advantage. Unless they fought in some sort of cave network that amplified the acoustics of Karaoke Org's attacks, Godzilla would have an advantage on nearly any battlefield, especially water-based environments. Karaoke Org can sing his heart out, but Godzilla just doesn't care for the music.

The Master

power rangers the master head

This final contender is the most powerful monster on this list. The Master (no, not that one, Whovians), also known as Octomus, was the main antagonist of Power Rangers Mystic Force. A Cthulhu-like demonic creature and leader of the Underworld, The Master falls into the category of actually scary Power Ranger villains. His original form resembles a giant squid with dragon heads on his tentacles and a monstrous skull face, though he later takes on a more humanoid shape that can still grow to gigantic sizes. The Master comes loaded with all sorts of powers, such as super strength, energy absorption, possession, flight, red energy tornado projection and teleportation.

Similar to King Ghidorah, The Master would serve as a difficult opponent for Godzilla. Its ability to absorb energy makes Godzilla's Atomic Breath worthless. If Godzilla was able to output enough power he could overload The Master the same way the Mystic Force Rangers did with their magical energy. However, Godzilla would likely have to be in an enhanced or powered-up state like he was in Godzilla: King of the Monsters in order to generate enough power to overload The Master. Otherwise, Godzilla's chances of victory seem slim due to The Master's godlike abilities.
