Purported character descriptions have emerged for "Power Rangers" that seem to confirm Lionsgate's big-screen reboot will draw inspiration from the early days of the unstoppable franchise.

Courtesy of "sources close to the movie," Collider has fairly detailed breakdowns for teenagers Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Billy and Zack, all characters from the 1993 television series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." Of course, these descriptions suggest slightly more nuanced Rangers than the ones viewers met two decades ago.

The breakdowns also seem to confirm an earlier report about which characters will play a role in the reboot. Whether more Rangers will be added remains to be seen.
