On the next season of Power Rangers: Beast Morphers, it's morphin' time once again for one of the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

As revealed in a new trailer for Season 2 of the current Power Rangers series, Austin St. John will reprise his role as Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Ranger in an upcoming cross-generational team-up episode.

In addition to Jason, that team-up will include a few other Mighty Morphin' rangers, as well as the Power Rangers Dino Thunder and Power Rangers Dino Charge squads.

From 1993 to 1994, John starred as the Red Ranger as the series became a worldwide phenomenon. Since departing the show in 1994, he's returned to the series on a few occasions, most recently in the 2002 Power Rangers Wild Force episode "Forever Red," where he teamed up with several other Red Rangers.

In addition to the franchise's typical monster-fighting martial arts action, the Beast Morphers trailer also offers a glimpse of several new Zords.

Travis as Devon the Red Ranger, Jazz Baduwalia as Ravi the Blue Ranger), Jacqueline Scislowski as Zoey the Yellow Ranger, Colby Strong as Blaze Ranger, Liana Ramirez as Roxy, Abraham Rodriguez as Nate, Jamie Linehan as Steel the Silver Ranger, Kristina Ho as Betty and Cosme Flores as Ben, Power Rangers: Beast Morphers airs on Nickelodeon.
