Get your fight sticks ready because Lord Zedd has been added to Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Patch 1.4 is also available, which adds the final act in the game's story mode.

Beginning today, players can download the self-proclaimed "Emperor of Evil" Lord Zedd as a playable character to include in their 3v3 matchups. As Lord Zedd, fighters can use his iconic Z-Staff to deal brutal attacks up close or blast enemies from range. Along with a high combo potential, Lord Zedd can also call upon the Putties to assist him in battles.

Lord Zedd is the third character in the Season One Pass DLC, which can be downloaded for $14.99 to unlock Lord Zedd, Trey of Tiforia, Jenn Scotts and the Jason Lee Scott Dragon Shield character skin. However, for those just looking to pick up Lord Zedd, the character can be purchased individually for $5.99.

With the release of the Lord Zedd also comes patch 1.4, a free update said to bring in various gameplay improvements and complete Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid's story mode.

Here is the official description of the game's third and final act:

Lord Drakkon and his army continue to travel through dimensions, conquering the Rangers and threatening all existence. With the fate of reality at stake, Zordon and Commander Cruger ask Rita Repulsa to join forces in order to stop Lord Drakkon and his powerful army. Tune into Act III to find out if Rite has been convinced to join the Rangers to defeat her old apprentice.

As for the gameplay enhancements, they include combat tweaks to make fights more engaging and fun, the ability for players to preset their favorite teams and improvements to the online matchmaking and online play for PS4.
