Returning Mighty Morphin Power Rangers star Karan Ashley revealed the cast of the upcoming 30th-anniversary special.

Ashley, who portrayed Aisha Campbell, aka the second Yellow Ranger on the original series, shared a photo of the main cast for the special to her official Facebook page on Oct. 27. Alongside Ashley are David Yost and Walter Emanuel Jones, the original Blue and Black Rangers, who are also reprising their iconic roles.

Johnny Yong Bosch and Steve Cardenas, who portrayed the second Black Ranger Adam Park and second Red Ranger Rocky DeSantos, will also be returning for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers milestone celebration. Ashley, Bosch, and Cardenas made their franchise debuts together at the end of the second season of the television series where they replaced the then-recently retired original Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers.

Catherine Sutherland, best known as the second Pink Ranger Katherine Hillard, is returning as well. The special is also slated to introduce at least one original character in the form of Charlie Kersh portraying the daughter of Trini Kwan. Trini, the first Yellow Ranger, was famously played by Thuy Trang who tragically lost her life in an auto accident in 2001 at the age of 27.

The upcoming special is one of several hotly anticipated developments coming soon to the Power Rangers franchise. 2023 will also mark the premiere of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, which will see the cast of the previous Dino Fury series return to take on threats both old and new.

Following Cosmic Fury, Netflix is poised to launch its own iteration of the franchise as helmed by The End of the F***ing World creator Jonathan Entwistle. The Netflix Power Rangers universe is set to be comprised of an all-new television series and at least one feature film. Reportedly, these upcoming projects will star a completely original team of Power Rangers and will be targeted at an older demographic who have already grown up with the eponymous team rather than the franchise's typical younger audience.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th-anniversary special does not yet have a release date but fans can expect more information in the coming months.
