The Power Pack is back -- and not just for a one-shot this time.

Following the release of the Power Pack: Grow Up one-shot this past August, Power Pack: Outlawed launches this April from Marvel Comics. The five-issue limited series unites the creative team of writer Ryan North (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) and artist Nico Leon (Ms. Marvel, Agents of Atlas). What's more, the first issue will feature a main cover by Ryan Stegman (Venom), as well as two variants -- one by Leon and another by Eduard Petrovich.

The series -- which reunites the classic team of Katie, Julie, Jack and Alex -- will be released as part of Marvel's upcoming Outlawed event, which focuses on the House of Ideas' teenage heroes. Given their status as Marvel's first young superhero team to operate without adult supervision, the Power Pack should be right at home.

"I loved working with [editor Sarah Brunstad] on Squirrel Girl, so when she asked if I'd be interested in doing a miniseries with her I said yes -- the fact I get to work with the Power Pack is just gravy," said North. "It's also fun doing a limited series -- a story with a complete beginning, middle and end -- because it lets you structure the story differently, to build in things that you just can't do in an ongoing series.

"For readers who have loved the Power Pack since their introduction in 1984 to those who maybe haven't even heard of them yet, I hope you'll check them out," he continued, "They're a group of four siblings who get superpowers but still keep all the issues you get when you're in a group of four siblings, people you love and sometimes hate and have known in some cases your entire life. It's hard! But it's also a lot of fun, and that's what we're hoping to capture in this story, along with an examination of what being a superhero actually means."

Written by Ryan North and illustrated by Nico Legon, Power Pack: Outlawed #1 is slated to go on sale this April from Marvel Comics. Ryan Stegman's main cover, Leon and Eduard Petrovich's respective variants, two preview pages, Leon's character designs, as well as the full solicitation information can be found below.
